Patient Information

Thanks for your interest in the Montana Spine and Pain Center. Our goal is to provide you with everything you need for evaluation and management of your condition.

We use a multidisciplinary team approach. Our core team includes health care providers in orthopaedic medicine, osteopathic medicine, physical medicine, interventional pain medicine, behavioral medicine, neuropsychiatry, pharmacology, addiction medicine and physical therapy. If necessary, we also arrange appropriate consults in other specialties such as, occupational therapy, neurology, and neurosurgery.

Your first visit will begin with a "triage" evaluation. The first visit provides an opportunity for a member of our team to review your previous records, learn as much as we can about your problem and begin to analyze your current situation. X-rays or other radiological tests may be recommended during the first visit. A plan for further evaluation will be developed with you and the next steps of your evaluation will be scheduled.

Prior to the first meeting you will need to complete a questionnaire that aids us in making sure we have all the necessary information needed to make an accurate diagnosis. We can't begin the evaluation until this questionnaire has been filled out.

Please Note: We will not take over your care until after we have finished the evaluation process.

If you are on any medications for your condition, you will need to make arrangements with your current health care provider to continue to prescribe those medications. Many medications can cause problems due to withdrawal if they are stopped abruptly.
